The new, re-designed, and re-engineered ThermoProbe TP-2C employs the RTD design
that has proven so reliable in the TP-7 and TP-8 for many years. A sealed industrial grade
switch and graphic overlay provides an easy user interface. The new enclosure is constructed
of heavy gauge powder coated aluminum for long life and durability.
It does not stop with the rugged engineering on the outside. The TP-2C circuit components
have the latest hardware and software technology that allow easy to use functions and a
wider temperature range while using a safer 3-volt power source. This circuitry is truly
"state of the art" setting new standards in the industry for accuracy, reliability and ease of
use. With functions such as measurement stability indication, running averaging, and
logging, you can do more with a ThermoProbe than ever before.
All of the construction materials used in the TP-2C were carefully selected to be both
intrinsically safe and impervious to petrochemicals. The probe assembly cable is very
flexible, static-dissipating, non-stick, and has a rugged stainless steel weighted sensor
permanently attached for ultimate reliability.
Operational Attributes
Calculates running average temperature using up to 10 saved temperature measurements.
Easily replaceable AA batteries provide an estimated *100 hours of operation. Circuit logic
automatically indicates low battery condition, shows readout integrity before each operation,
automatically shuts off after 20 minutes and displays error codes for failure determination.
The low power backlight for night operation is photo sensor controlled for convenience and
battery conservation. Selectable Celsius or Fahrenheit. Simple, push-button calibration.
